there's something fantastically 1970's about these hand knitted puppets - they remind me of something that barbara from the good life might knock up on her loom...but in a good way obviously. I'm seriously digging the lion's hair!

the baby style file's guide on how to be a pretend cowboy goes something like this...part 1). get teepee, part 2). get rocking horse, part 3). gather with other cowboy folk around a camp fire cushion, part 4). eat lots of marshmallows because all that lassoing is hard work, part 5). rest weary head on camp fire cushion and have nothing but sweet dreams....

rattles

rattles are a great baby gift - no problems with sizing and they're pretty gender neutral too (if you get bothered by such things) - oh and not forgetting the fact that babies love giving them a little shake. choose wisely and they'll double up as a friendly toy, play food and/or teethers (although quite frankly babies are willing to put most things in their mouths)

who said that dressing up was just for kids, why can't a lion pretend to be robin hood or an alien wear a party hat? in fact, I think all toys should be encouraged to play dress up (especially when it looks so darn cool)
